On January 1, 2024, in Quang Ninh province, the Cua Luc 3 Bridge (the Binh Minh Bridge) officially opened to traffic. This marked another significant project completed by A2Z Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company, which handled surveying, preparing the feasibility study report, and designing the construction drawings.
The Cua Luc 3 Bridge is a level II transport project with a total length of more than 2.6 km, six traffic lanes, and a design speed of 60 km/h. The completion of the Cua Luc Bridge meets the transportation connectivity demand between the former Hoanh Bo district and the center of Ha Long city, creating a marvel on Cua Luc Bay and becoming an iconic symbol of Quảng Ninh Province.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, affirmed: “This construction not only strengthens the transportation network, but also stands as a signature architectural symbol for Ha Long city, which heralds a new beginning of development in the year ahead”.
In partnership with DEOCA Group, the lead contractor in the consortium, A2Z carried out the construction design based on the “Sunrise” concept, which won first prize in the architectural design competition. Inspired by the rising sun over the sea, the concept captures both the serene beauty and the majestic grandeur of the bay. From topographic surveying and selecting optimal structural solutions to finalizing detailed drawings, A2Z applied rigorous processes to ensure technical precision, safety, and suitability to Quang Ninh’s terrain and climate conditions. Every parameter and detail design was carefully calculated by the engineering team, with a focus on durability, aesthetic appeal, and a lasting connection to both the community’s daily life and the city’s landscape.
Before this, in the same competition, A2Z impressively won First Prize for the design concept of the Cua Luc 1 Bridge – “Seabird Wings” – and took on the primary role in designing the construction drawings. Upon completion, the bridge was named the Love Bridge by the Prime Minister of Vietnam, becoming a new iconic landmark that attracts a large number of residents and tourists to visit.

With a total investment of 53.4 million USD, the Cua Luc 3 bridge is described as a silk ribbon spanning Cua Luc Bay, connecting Hoanh Bo and Ha Long. Its graceful curves and structural form reflect the harmony between tradition and modernity, as well as the natural beauty and the mark of urban architecture. Together with Love Bridge, this project enhances the city’s landscape and gradually transforms Cua Luc Bay into a new connectivity hub for Ha Long City.
